FAQ
What is Canon?
Canon means Curators have affirmed a thing belongs in the shared Fan-facing catalog. It takes at least 5 decisive Yes/No votes and ≥80% Yes. Soft bands (leaning / contested) stay visible to Curators until they clear the bar.
What’s the difference between Fan and Curator?
Fans compare and list. Curators also cast Canon votes, propose renames, resolve duplicates, add subcategories, and flag harmful material. You can switch tiers in Settings after accepting Curator terms.
I added something and Fans can’t see it — is that broken?
No. New things start Pending until Curators Canonize them. You can always see and personally rank your own submissions; community Elo only moves when both items in a pair are already Canon.
Follow vs Friends?
Follow is public social graph (Letterboxd-style). Friends-only privacy unlocks only for accepted mutual friends — not followers. Accept requests in Settings.
What can’t I submit?
Illegal content, exploitation, doxxing, credible threats, spam, and other material banned in the Terms. Flag inappropriate items; enough flags quarantine them. Owners may remove or override anything.
Is the site 21+?
Yes. Unmoderated community material may include adult themes. Curators explicitly accept that they may encounter harmful submissions and must flag them.
